Jones<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now and again, it is unfortunate to see\nexpecting mothers drinking artificially sweetened sodas and never pausing long\nenough to understand that the developing baby is sipping on the same toxic\nconcoction.&nbsp; The latest research reveals\nhow those pregnant women who consume diet sodas are twice as likely to raise a\nfat child.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Routinely observed in the growing\ncommerce of Latino-based grocery stores frequently one will see extremely obese\nLatin babies, both boys and girls.&nbsp; This\nobesity trend corresponds to the aforementioned finds of fatter children;\nespecially since a large portion of Mexican cultural serves and consumes plenty\nof Coca Cola, as well as other sugary sodas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The research did lean more heavily on\nreporting this outcome of the likelihood of producing a fatter baby to those\nexpectant mothers who drank artificially sweetened sodas every day.&nbsp; In addition, unborn babies exposed to artificial\nsweeteners in the womb have an increased propensity of developing a sweet tooth,\nwhich in turn will drive their respective calories consumption way up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Usually, aspartame and other artificial\nsweeteners are primarily promoted to diabetics and those concerned about\ngaining weight.&nbsp; The thing is artificial\nsweeteners are bad and cause the insulin in the body to become more sensitivity\nto wanting more sugar than what table sugar would cause.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When we eat something sweet, our brain\nreleases dopamine, which activates the brain&#8217;s reward center.&nbsp; The appetite-regulating hormone leptin is\nalso released, which eventually informs our brain that we are full once a\ncertain amount of calories have been ingested.&nbsp;\nHowever, when we consume something that tastes sweet but does not\ncontain any calories, the brain&#8217;s pleasure pathway still gets activated by the\nsweet taste, but there is nothing to deactivate it, since the calories never\narrive, thereby wanting to eat more and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Besides worsening insulin sensitivity\nand promoting weight gain, aspartame and other artificial sweeteners also\nadvance other health problems associated with excessive sugar consumption,\nincluding cardiovascular disease and Alzheimer&#8217;s disease.&nbsp; For the record, aspartame is better known by\nthe brand names NutraSweet and Equal.&nbsp; It\nhas a competitor that is nearly as harmful called sucralose, commonly\nrecognized under the brand name Splenda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sucralose, a chemical about 320 to 1,000\ntimes as sweet as sucrose (table sugar), three times as sweet as aspartame, and\ntwice as sweet as saccharin, but still a synthetic additive created by\nchlorinating sugar.&nbsp; The chemical\nstructure of the chlorine in sucralose is almost the same as that in the\nnow-banned pesticide DDT (dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane, officially banned as\na health hazard in 1973).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sweet is not something that has to come\nfrom sodas and the like.&nbsp; For example, by\nsoaking about \u00be cup of raisins in warm water, then later puree the raisins in a\nhigh-powered blender with \u00bc cup of the liquid they soaked in and the results\nwill be very sweet.&nbsp; Living it up\nrequires enough discipline to live SugarAlert!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sugaralert.come\/\"><em>www.SugarAlert.com<\/em><\/a><em><br>\nSince 2007, Dean steadfastly\nshares his understanding on the dangers of eating processed sugar.<\/em>\n\n\n\n\n\nfffffffffff<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Newborn Obesity By Dean L.
